Recently, Chins first 70MPa hydrogen refueling station (Tongji-Xinyuan Hydrogen Refueling Station) to produce hydrogen with wind-solar hybrid generation has been built in Dalian. The station, as the concentrated reflection of research results of 70MPa Hydrogen Refueling Station R&D and Demonstration based on Renewable Energy Hydrogen Production / Storage which is the 863 project of the Ministry of Science and Technology in 12th Five-Year undertaken by Tongji University, has integrated renewable energy field hydrogen production technology, 90MPa ultrahigh pressure hydrogen compression and storage technology, 70MPa filling technology and 70MPa hydrogenation station integration technology. With the cooperation of project member, it has realized the independent innovation of key equipment and taken a solid step to catch up with the international advanced level. During the implementation, the project is greatly supported by Xinyuan Power Co., Ltd. At present, the project teams are actively coordinating with Xinyuan Power in regard to the relevant administrative examination and approval items, striving for the early acceptance of hydrogen refueling station and putting into operation, so as to provide the hydrogen refueling service for the demonstration operation of fuel cell vehicles in Dalian and even northeast China and become the window for China demonstrating the hydrogen energy and advanced technology in fuel cell vehicle field to the world.(From: China Hydrogen Energy Network)
